littlestranger 0 #26 August 25, 2003 QuoteYou could always skip college like I did. Or you could do what I'm doing, take a few classes every couple of years! Been working on the degree for 22 years now, only eight classes to go! It's kind of like a mortgage, spreading the cost over a period of time. Since I've taken up skydiving, I'm thinking this is going to be one of those 30 year mortgages. Today, I'm wasting a vacation day because I have 4 papers due and a final on Wednesday, been spending too many weekends at the DZ! It's so worth it though...better get back to the books or I'll be taking tomorrow off too! Blue Skies!
txblondie 0 #27 August 25, 2003 I buy LOTS of stuff on half.com. That's where I got my laptop; it was a company lease Dell computer that had been wiped clean and reconfigured, only a year old, and it's fabulous. I got it for $395. Great deal, considering I looked up a new one with all the same specs, and it was like $1300. Half.com is where I've bought all the books I've needed for the CAD courses I've been taking, all brand new, and literally 1/2 the price of anywhere else. ***************************************** Blondes do have more fun!
