If your looking for a house to Buy call skykdive Deland and ask for Pine, he is selling his house, if you want to rent there is a ton of renter property for skydivers in town. I wish I could move to Deland, but alas, i'd have to find a job with comparible pay/benes and i'd also have to break my current lease (which i've come to find out will cost me about 2800$). ..So, I will stay in S. Fla for now,... only 4 hrs away, not so bad. You visit there and decide to move? I was just up there a week ago and never wanted to leave... even looked into employment and breaking my lease (see above). Good luck with your move and finding a nice place! Maybe I'll put a together "A Skydiver's Handbook for Moving to DeLand" and sell it for a hug and a jump ticket Angela, I'm really thankful for my current job situation. I do freelance computer programming and the companies that I'm working for have told me that they're fine with it if I move to Florida. So I get to keep the same job I have now. My lease expired early summer so I've just been bumming around for the past month or so anyway so I'm free to go. I've been planning this for a while now but was having trouble deciding where I wanted to go. Some drunken bonfire talk with some really good skydivers this past weekend helped a lot I'm really excited for the move and can't wait to have a tunnel only an hour away. Goodbye wallet!
