Someone was thinking of me.....

Missed you too Mary. Actually, I'm still unemployed, right now. I'm not "allowed" to start driving over the road again until the house is done, so I've been busting my ass on it.

Thanks for thinking about me, darlin'. You get something special for that in the near future.....

Oh goodie, I love surprises.

Had drinks with Dave (Beth's husband) last night. He told me you hooked him up with a canopy and reserve. What great karma you have :)

Karma is what makes everything so much fun. We're all family. Be good to one another. We say way too much bad karma get paid back when people weren't spreading the good stuff last year.

I wondered about Rev. Jim all day yesterday, so I am glad to see that everything is AOK. I followed a car hauler down John Deere Expressway in the QC yesterday, and nearly killed myself to see if it was daRev.

Glad you had a great time with Dave, too Famosa. He said that you down Margaritas right nicely. He answered the phone this morning with "oh no Mary! We've overslept!" Sounds like he had a great time (even if it was only in his mind!)

Well, I better make this one a good one, huh? I guess that leaves me personally out, so I'll have to make it a very nice dinner, and maybe a movie.....

Hell of a good guy there, BUT, that was supposed to stay under wraps. Remember, I'm the quiet, behind the scenes guy. I try and send a simple message. "Do what you can, when you can, to help out and give back in this sport." It doesn't need to be big, flashy, or expensive. Hell a pat on the back, a "nice job/jump/exit/landing/spot/ect." goes so much further than anything material ever could. I was helped out in a very big way, and I'm returning the favor. Oh, it is actually a main/reserve and container, but the rig is too small for him. I either need to have the harness made bigger or find a container in the correct size with a bigger harness.

I want, and expect, nothing. Giving back is just that, giving. To expect something, anything in return just defeats the purpose.

I'm happy just to spread the good vibes. :)

It's gonna be a month or two before I start driving again, Beth. When I do though, start looking for PINK car haulers again. :)

Not to worry, I've already got folks on the look out for a container. ( I now remember Dave telling me about the container being too small, guess I had one too many drinks last night;))
