Need non-airworthy pilot chutes or drogue

What is the weight of the payload?
Take care,
space

FAA regs state it can't be over 4 lbs. What I'm going to do is send up a camera and then retrieve it via SPOT GPS transponder. Also, said electronics will be packed in styrofoam.

The intent is to reach "the edge of space." Google "weather balloon space" and you'll find tons of stuff related to it.

Just because I'm a curious motherfucker...

How are you going to deploy the drogue?

Payload on bottom, cord running up about 60-80 feet, attach to bottom of drogue, attach another cord to the apex of the drogue, run that cord up to the balloon. When the ballon bursts, the line from the apex of the drogue to the balloon goes slack, allowing the drogue to inflate.

However, Rather than use a drogue, I'm going to just use a rocket recovery parachute. It will be quite a bit lighter. A drogue is a lot more substantial than I will need.
