lawrocket 3 #2 August 27, 2003 Yeah, I got gypped, too. No points of light. I had a "cardiac event" when I had surgery on my knee. I guess next time I'll go for the epidural. No detrimental effects, though I did do something really stupid. I went to law school... My wife is hotter than your wife.

steve1 5 #12 August 27, 2003 I've never been there myself. I met a guy once who said he was coming out of a bar in Seattle and was stabbed. His heart stopped on the operating table for a while. He says he remembers seeing a lot of white light. (Maybe he was imagining things), but he swears he remembers this white light coming towards him.......Steve1

jmpnkramer 0 #15 August 27, 2003 for the record I have only one documented flatline when I was 12. The nurses lost my vitals after giving me a shot. They did not even tell my Mother what was going on. There is actually no telling how many times I have though. I have been involved in some unusual incidents where I was unconcious for a time. People who know me say I have more lives than a cat. I survived what most would not. Laters, KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!The REAL KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER! AirMail 0 #18 August 28, 2003 Yes. I have a hyperactive Vegus nerve. When I get the Flu and get stomach cramps, my brain sends signals to the cramps to relax. My heart gets the signals too and slows down and has several times stopped. Usually it's for about 3 seconds and has always restarted by itself. It's pretty freaky when it happens. Swoopyswoop 0 #19 August 28, 2003 I have 4 times in the same day, very vague memory but do recall the small light at the end of the tunnel, a very peaceful and calm experience. askir 0 #20 August 28, 2003 Not me but my best friend... He was about 300 feet from the ground when a vortex from a departing c-130 collapsed his canopy, he landed one cell, estimated at 90 mph. he did bounce on the number 13 on the Runway. He was in surgery when he DIED.... I have a very moving letter that describes what he saw...the light, going into a room and meeting with his dead father, and recently murdered buddy, they told him to return and that iot would hurt a lot, when he walked out of the room he was suspended in the air above the operating table and fell onto his body at the time they zapped him back. Two days later he described the scene to a nurse and gave details of what he saw, the room was described perfectly. An Army Dr. who walked in to help left before he woke up, but he remembers who he was. his life changed completely after that, he still jumps.
