The rational is that the Jamison name be forwared thru the generations. If I would have been able to have kids they were to have the first name of Jamison. I was married and it was Ann Jamison LaRue. Now its back to Ann Jamison. I believe just after high school, the govmt had a problem with the no middle name issue. So they started putting NMI there. No Middle Initial. She had a very long name and she hated it. Thanks mom!!! Gia is pretty short, however I have to correct people everytime they read it or when I introduce myself. For some reason everyone wants to put an "n" in it.
