If you could live anywhere in the world

Recommended Posts

That's hard...I luv to travel! Maybe some nice little log cabin out in the woods with horses in Breckenridge Colorado for the winter & a little house somewhere in Europe for the summer!

I used to live in Southern Calif. I wanted to move to Colorado, so I did. :)

OK I'm from Canada and I left to get away from the cold, so NO COLD PLACES. If it weren't for the weather I'd go back in a flash. The only place I could think of moving outside the US is Israel, and it's not looking too great right now. I'm sort of torn between Florida, Arizona and SoCal. Arguments for or against any of these, anyone?

in the middle of Yosemite Valley. Its simply the most beautiful place i have seen in my life. Nice medium sized house with a stream snaking through the front yard, stocked with fish and with a waterfall. Tall pine trees everywhere, vividly green in the spring and summer and beautifully blanketed in snow in winter. :)

You're no fun... lol

Where?

I really like the area I live in now. Right between the orchards and grapevines, on a peninsula between two of teh great lakes. Somewhat of a rural setting but 1 hour from the 5th largest city in North America.

However, I have not been to a part of Canada I would not like to live for a while. I even wouldn't mind living in northern Canada for a while, just to experience it.

I love the lifestyle, the people and the country.

In a town called perfect, on aTwin Otter Dropzone, with barely cloudy skies year round, and a 5 mile an hour wind that blows the same direction all the time, and where jump tickets are free.

...But we don't live anywhere near Perfect, so that's why there is TEXAS!

I would own my own island in the carribean. IT would be called DZ Island, and I will have lots of planes and landing areas and cabanas for all my friends and all of you. I will have my own little army of flying monkeys and since I will have my own government I will have half of the island growing bud and shrooms...hehehehhehehehehehe

Hands down it would be Vienna. I have never been to a place with such a high regard for artistic and intellectual endeavors as well as the dignity of the human spirit.

The fact that a building by architect Friedrich Hundertwasser is used as government-subsidized housing rather than as luxury apartments speaks volumes about the city's commitment to its citizenry.

On a house boat w/ a British passport. I would pay harbor/slip fees @ various city in the following places:
Sydney, Melbourne, South Africa (somewhere), Italy, England, Argentina, St. Thomas, New Zeland, Japan, Korea, So. Cal, Tampa, Sebastial FL, NC, Houston, Isreal, Ireland, Denmark, Spain, Greece, Poland, Estonia & Russia... think that about covers it; but I'm sure I've missed some of my dream home locations.

There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Only you can fix your fear.
