Anyone have better directions to Z-Hills?/

I guess I was kinda hoping for mostly highway directions. Seems like a lot of small roads.

Don't know where you are coming from........but from the North it's I-75 and then about 20-30 minutes worth of small roads through Z Hills. Like most DZ's it's in the middle of nowhere. You can't miss the Sunpath building though. Just make sure to have your windows rolled up and your doors locked as you tour Z Hills down town. :D I also suggest being armed......:D

Yep, use the directions off the website. There's no way you can avoid small roads getting to Z-hills.

Take I-75north until exit 265 (fowler) exit east. Take fowler until it ends into (301) turn left head that way for ~14miles turn right at the light (chancey) and just follow that road as it winds around. It will hook to the left and just keep watching to the left and you will find it. If you get lost just try to find the ZepherHills airport and its all the way on the East side.

Oh, don't listen to Clay, you'll be fine. :P

Well, you may be more down south than I think you are. What about the Turnpike, will that work? I was mostly talking about once you get into the Lakeland area, you have to take small roads to actually get to the dz.

oh GOD dont' use those yahoo directions.

you are in FT lauderdale area, right? I drive to ZHills from W Palm all the time. Go THIS way, you'll save yourself about an hour off that yahoo way.

take the turnpike rfm wherever you are up to Yeehaw Junction (rte 60). Take 60 West to Bartow. At Bartow, you'll take 98 north/west towards lakeland. This kinda branches off once or twice, just pay attention to the signs, it's all labeled. After you go through lakeland you'll eventually come to a road sign that says "Zephyrhills" with an arrow. It shold be a left hand turn onto rte 54. Over the railroad tracks, make a left at your first light (Chancey Rd). On chancey you'll pass ZHills spring water, Sign for skydive city is on teh right hand side. you'll see the DZ from this road, it sits behind Sunpath and Tony Suits.

dear god, do not take I4 from where you are. that's just lunacy. :)

If I make it there alive that is

Oh GOOD LORD!!!!! I'm just kidding! The Rednecks are only bad if you wander into the Anchor Inn. You'll know to avoid it because it's in the middle of a bunch of trailer parks......:D

I know, it's cool. I've been to z-hills, but i'd driven with friends from Deland so I don't know the way from here. Thanks! !

Angela.

There is actually a biker bar called the Hawg Pound that has a skydiving history. At one time, it was called "Heads". There was 2 dzs in Z-hills and everyone went there.

One of the patrons was Dave Rickerby. He did a black light painting that covered an entire wall. There is still some of it left.

However, Stacy only frequents the classy places, so she heads for the Crystal. (Or maybe the Anchor has her blacklisted. ;) )

Does that tell anyone how cool I am?????

The inbred, hillbilly, Florida natives emerged from their trailers for a nightly drink-till-you-drop festival at the local tool shed and they bought drinks for Clay. Maybe they thought you were one of them?

Thanks SO much, Stacy! I will definitely use your directions, instead!!

Stick with Stacy's directions and you will save yourself major hassles. Just don't miss that Zephyrhills sign! (Not that I have ever done that)

Look us up at the bomb squad corner this weekend.
