adamx 0 #1 September 17, 2011 Looking at a rig, trying to figure out what the price range should look like. And what a fair offer might be. Hard to find something similar in the classifieds. Don't want to rip myself off, but don't want to send an insulting offer "Javelin J3 - DOM 2000 PISA Hornet 190 - DOM 2000 FC Firelite 170r - DOM 1990 no rides Cypress servicable through early 2013 Clean, good lines, with <400 jumps. Will need AIR and cypress battery" Thanks much
riggerrob 643 #2 September 17, 2011 With that reserve, try to keep loading below one pound per square foot. Hornets are decent, modern sport canopies that competed in the same market sector as PD Sabre, Aerodyne Pilot and Icarus Saphire. As for the main suspension lines ... insist on inspection - by a rigger you trust - before any money changes hands.

PhreeZone 20 #4 September 17, 2011 Here did you get that price from? I would offer far less than that price since the Cypres is only worth $375 at most. The main is worth maybe $500-600 on the open market and the reserve is worth about the same or less. I would give 8-900 for the container. My math is $2100-2300 since it was basically a off brand bargain rig when it was put together and the prices on those items have fallen fast since then.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
DBlank 0 #5 September 23, 2011 The DOM is only helpful to an extent, how many jumps are on this setup? It could be DOM '89 with only 200ish jumps."Do you really want to take advice from the guy we call Tarmac?"
rwieder 0 #6 October 3, 2011 QuoteFair Offer: $2,450.00 USD. Nothing more than my opinion. QuoteMy math is $2100-2300 We're not that far apart, at least we're no so far apart that you have to mouth off about my reply to the OP. Mind your business please, so you wont be minding mine. Thank you.-Richard- "You're Holding The Rope And I'm Taking The Fall"
DougH 270 #7 October 3, 2011 The hornet should be checked for line trim. They tend to open really hard when they start going out of trim. Otherwise they are great canopies."The restraining order says you're only allowed to touch me in freefall" =P
