LadySkydiver sighted in Oklahoma!!!

The weather here was really bad today so the DZ crew decided to head over to a fellow jumper's place in OKC to char some animal flesh and torture some poor lobsters.

We had just lit the grill when my phone started ringing. It was our very own Cora who happened to call me because she was bored and passing through Oklahoma. Tragic place to be, I know, so I wasn't going to let her leave my state with a bad impression. Our roads may be evil, but our hospitality sure isn't!

It turned out that she was only about 25 minutes away so she parked the moving truck and I went and picked her up.

Much fun and hijinx were had during the short amount of time we got to spend with her. Before we knew it, it was time to take her back to her truck and let her get back on the road.

It was definitely good to see her again and I wish her a safe & speedy journey and mucho vibes for starting her new life in California.

If she happens to drop into your town for a visit be warned, that woman can give hugs like nobody else.

Thank you so much for picking me up and please thank Jamie, Peter, and Cody for having me over for dinner. The steak and lobster were wonderful!!! And, it was very nice to see you again. You don't know how much I needed that sanity break.

Yes, I was driving solo - which I will not do again going across country. **SHUDDER**

Cool, glad you made it! I love the adventure of taking any trip. New places to see/things to do...

And to think, I had the wholeeeee week off, but noooooooo you didn't even offer to take me
