wmw999 2,589 #1 September 6, 2003 I put it into Events, because it seemed at home there. But if you're looking for a ride, or know you can offer a ride, to the POPS record jump in Ca, howzabout sharing: Rides Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)
flyangel2 2 #2 September 6, 2003 Wendy, Check out Kallend's post in Talk Back under "Getting to Perris". He too is looking for a ride. Like I told him, at this time I'm not sure how I'm getting to Perris. If I fly on commercial, my parents will pick me up at the airport. I'll know in about a week what the plan is for me. If you need a ride from the airport out to the DZ, we can maybe meet up. After you get to the DZ, there are enough people there that have cars that it isn't a problem getting a ride. (I wish I knew how to make Kallend's thread a clicky, but I just haven't taken the time to learn)May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. May your mountains rise into and above the clouds. - Edward Abbey
wmw999 2,589 #3 September 6, 2003 I did -- that's what made me think about it. I know that a number of rides hooked up for Eloy using the thread last year, and I'm just hoping that we can do the same thing. One central place, that won't drop off of p. 1 in 10 minutes, would be easy. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it.
