Go back to your original photo and do it this way... I had the ame trouble.

1. Crop the photo to what you want to display.

2. choose 'image size' and resize it to about the 65 x 75 - experiment a bit...

3. (the important one) Use save for web option. Now when you adjust the 'quality' slider you'll see the file size below the photo actually changes. Select accordingly.

the problem I used to have saving in 'normal' jpeg is that it SAID the file size wqas smaller but it never actually saved to disk below about 12 kb. Dunno why but his functions as a workaround.

Anyone have the answer? ...Bueller? ... ... Bueller??
