diverdriver 7 #1 September 8, 2003 Today I got to fly a demo jump for Oprah's Family Reunion on Navy Pier downtown Chicago. WAY COOOOL! I didn't get any pictures myself as I was flying but it all went good. We planned for four landings in the water at the pier rather than put it down in the crowd. Interesting getting to fly that close to the downtown buildings at that altitude. Not often you get to do that and then drop jumpers. There were TONS of boats on the water in and around the pier too. Not sure how long they stayed afterwards. I asked if they got to meet Oprah but they didn't get to. Took them a few minutes to get fished out of the lake. It was all coordinated.
