sunnydee123 0 #1 September 3, 2003 Well I can't even begin to say how happy I am. I have busted my butt the last few months and after my great weekend in Richmond, I left the Boogie having made my 200th jump from the SkyVan. We did not get altitude cause clouds rolled in but due to some tandems, we got the load up - they unfortunately came back down with the plane but I exited with Stuey from Monkey Claw and pal Jameson to "complete the mission" (got picture of the whole gang afterwards also - will attach tomorrow). Faxed all the paperwork in bright and early this morning and am anxious to see what kind of number I get......Good stuff for sure! Now I am trying to determine what my next "goal" might be...Got the new log book, and already started filling it with jumps - 2 headdown attempts at Lake Wales yesterday with my boyfriend Greg. I've got a handful of them under my belt now and yesterday was the first time I actually felt the air headdown and was comfortable. This has just been a great year so far........and it's not over yet. Thanks to everyone who has been part of the adventure so far.....hugs Dreams become reality, one choice at a time... jmpnkramer 0 #2 September 3, 2003 Hey Congratulations there Girlie!!!!!!!!!!! You definitely deserve it. I know how hard you have worked. I cannot believe it. It seems like just yesterday we were doing your 100TH. Too bad I missed your 200TH. Maybe I can be there for your 1000TH I cannot believe you were in Lake Wales and did not buzz me though. Oh well, there is always another time. I wanted to goto Spaceland this weekend for the $15 to 15,000 but I am working on getting my rating current and up to date. I want to instruct again. I really enjoy it. Anyway, I will talk to you soon. Take Care, KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!!The REAL KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER! "HESITATION CAUSES DEATH!!!" Kramer - got to Lake Wales around 11, was able to make 2 loads then had lunch and hoped rain would pass but no luck, then had a 2 hour drive home - will call next time - promise! As for "The Tour"....think it is just about over since vacation time is depleted and cash flow is operating on reserves. Only other "potential" plans will be around Christmas when we are hoping to get out west. Big hugs to all...........talk soon.....D Dreams become reality, one choice at a time... alanab 0 #21 September 3, 2003 QuoteWell girl, let's get on the ball!! you still have a few weeks left! What all do you lack? what do i lack? hmmm, my elbow and my infinity. if i had those 2, i would have gotten my c already. i had 62 jumps 6 weeks ago and havent been able to jump since then. but i guess the bright side is that i saved on rental fees. im ok to jump in 2 weeks. my rig will be ready in 3 or 4... itll be too late then to get in 38 jumps unless the weather takes a turn for the best and i win the lotto! I think my next objective will be to save up the cash and invest in some coaching, since my honey isn't always available to help me. I want to get on my head.........I am doing great with headdown exits but not so great at actually holding them once off the hill. All in time......got lots of that! Blue ones everyone...see you at a DZ soon I'm sure. Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

juanesky 0 #25 September 3, 2003 Hey Alana, according to the new BSR's you only need to be B qualified (meaning that the license is not requred) 30 min of freefall time and water training. If you can prepare for the night jumps will be great. As far as for the licenses, it does not really matter, unless you wanted to become a tandem master, coach or AFF instructor, for which you will need Pro ratings and other things (check the SIMs at your DZ and take a look and see for yourself.) Blue skies and don't worry about it too much, take your time and be safe are the key for a long and healthy skydiving life........"According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon
