Yoshi 0 #1 September 2, 2003 well even though monday was a complete wash and sunday we only got a few hop and pops sat, fri, thurs, and wed were great. sat was a bit cloudy, but we still got alti after it all cleared up. it was great to meet some of you and I had a complete blast at the parties. do any of you have fun even though it was a bit soggy? I managed to keep the energy going even when it was pouring rain (if you were there and happened to see the four wheeler/ barefoot water skiing tricks then you understand:) have fun hope to see yall next year! -yoshi_________________________________________ this space for rent. sunnydee123 0 #4 September 3, 2003 Yes it was...despite the rain and wind and chill in the air, lotsa loads went up and I personally had a blast. Met some new pals, witnessed some "shinanagins" and was able to provide some first aid assistance and made my 200th jump! The Skydive Fort Wayne was MORE THAN hospitable and I can't even begin to thank them for all they did....and then I have to give a BIG THANKS to the Richmond staff for helping fellow skydiver get a ride home on Sunday night (and what a "Mac-Daddy" ride back it was..............thanks Mike). sunnydee123 0 #6 September 3, 2003 I camped with Skydive Fort Wayne that is actually in Angola now....It was a fun jump for sure (first 3 way flower...BEER!) and I wished we could have jumped more. I felt a bit obligated to jump with my pal, who is just learning his sit, since we traveled there together. Next time I'll just have to excuse myself so I can play with some of my other friends. How funny that I ran into your brother when I got there and was wondering if it was you (guess cause I had my idea what you might look like) and then found out later it was your Bro. But apparently it was a "different kind of boogie." Too bad for the organizers cause I know a lot of people who said they wouldn't go back. And I really NEEDED a party too. Oh well... Fall in dove. We need to learn how to control (or at least curve) our appetite for fun - at least when alcohol and bunches of other skydivers are involved. We are a crazy bunch! I sure was there. thats when shortbus got his little road rash experience when he fell off the creeper at about 25mph.... I took one ride on the creeper and then you and dan were trying to go "tandem" (I was driving remember) when we broke the second creeper. as far as fun I thought this boogie was a blast...
