Went to Elsinore for 2 way camp and had a great time. Saw a few friends and some others I thought I knew but wasn't sure. I saw Lew BUT I had never met her. I was like hey that looks like Lew but doesn't she live in Ohio or something? Well she's on crutches and it looks like her. Nah...can't be. Turns out it was her. Well I guess that private investigator carrer is shot all to hell.

0:0:0 for my weekend but I still had fun. I flew into ONT on Thursday night, spent time with Eric, went to Knott's Berry Farm (almost went to Disney on the day of the crash), rode a sweet bike up an on ramp at 120 mph, rode between SoCal traffic on same bike during Friday rush HOURSSSSS traffic, ate get, drank some, let ltdiver work my arm some, watched a few ugly landings at Perris, threatened to kill Kramer for talking LSD into bringing me BLUE STUFF (came real close to being sick on that one), drunk dialed kate Cooper, got drunk dialed by Kramer and Turtlespeed, shot video for the Bytch's pool going away extravaganza, got lots of hugs from everyone, flew home with the same Delta crew that flew me home after I broke my arm and they remembered me , and I must have been living right because I had my entire row of 3 seats to myself so I could stretch out and sleep all the way home. Thanks to everyone who helped make my trip fun....you guys ROCK

I'm planning on getting back in the air in 2 weeks so everyone plan accordingly cause I'm sick of the 00000's.

after 5 Saki-bombs that is...drank a lot of those saturday which hampered my getting an early start at the DZ on Sunday. But I did get 2 jumps in...1 sitfly and 1 RW. It was GREAT to get back in air after 3 weeks of travels, and even GREATER to see all my skydiving buds...i love the H-town crew...you guys are the BEST

My streak of jumping every weekend has ended (prior to this weekend I had made at least one jump every weekend since late January). Long live the streak ... But thanks to a volleyball tournament on Saturday and some crappy weather on Sunday. My weekend stats are as follows:

Oh well, the streak was bound the end in three weekends anyway as I need to make a road trip up to Canada in late September or early October.

Did some fun skydives, did a couple really fun tandems (I love taking tandems on jumps) and a couple really nice swoops. All in all a good weekend. The weather was beautiful, it didn't even get to 90F all weekend.

The Aggies won! Whoop! So that makes it even better.

SD Aggieland aquired a 2-keg professional keg dispenser on Friday. Its very nice, Co2, 2-kegs, 2-taps, stainles steel. The catch is it didn't work and looked like shit. So I spent my down time this weekend working on it. Got it fixed, got it looking good and got it dispensing VERY cold Shiner Bock for all to enjoy.

This thing is going to be a hit at the AOT Boogie!

Finally, after MONTHS of raving about skydiving to my whuffo friends, 4 of them jumped this weekend (in seperate pairs, not a big group)

Two of them came over Friday night and watched almost ALL of my videos, which, admittedly, aren't that many, but how many whuffos do you know who would watch an entire AFF progression, random jumps, AND hours of tunnel time?? With enthusiasm?

Well, after they left, and I was cleaning up, I went to take a sip out of my heavy glass Ron Jon mug. I brought it to my lips like I do everytime I sip a drink, only this time I brushed my right front tooth.

And chipped it.

My beautiful, gift-from-God, perfect smile was marred in a millisecond. So I cried.

It's not actually that bad, and I'm having it fixed tomorrow, but try saying that to me then.

THEN, my boyfriend bought me a mountain bike for my upcoming birthday. I bought the helmet, gloves and camelback and got suited up, lookin' like I knew what I was doing. We didn't make it a mile before I f'ed up, twisted the front tire, and took a handlebar full-force to my lower abdomen.

I thought I was going to die. I felt a warm, spreading pain down my inner thigh, and all the way around to my back. Having never experienced soft-tissue trauma, this scared the shit out of me. That and the incredible, breath-sucking pain.

Well, to make a long story less long, there was no internal bleeding, and I was just laid up for the rest of the weekend with Aleve, an icepack and a bunch of beer. That wouldn't be so bad except for the pain, and I didn't jump or get to see my friends jump.

That was my weekend. Wah.
