I've noticed the politically active types on these polls like to mince words. Especially since we are all so clear and grammatically correct compared to politicians.

From the Dems debate (opinionjournal.com)

Enjoy slamming your dubious candidates - the best the Dems have to offer this time around:

John Kerry: "I think that $87 billion should not be just granted as a rubber check to this president."


Howard Dean: "[I favor] a renewable energy policy in this country so we stop sending all our oil money to the Saudis and the Iranians and the Syrians, where they recycle it back into terror."


Kerry: "We deserve a president of the United States who will write laws for all Americans, not for campaign contributors."


Bob Graham: "the president . . . abandoned the war on terror in the spring of 2001 by moving military and intelligence resources out of Afghanistan to begin the war on Iraq.


Carol Moseley Braun: "A generation ago, a president of the United States told the American people that all we had to fear was fear itself."

All I got out of the debate[sic] was:

FoxNews is leaning more to the left. Hard to believe those softball questions. Then again, I can't remember when I've seen a really hardball question in a nationally televised presidential debate of any sort.

From the candidates, the following ingenious observations:

- Bush is bad.
- We don't like Bush.
- Bush gave us tax cuts for the rich.(who pay most of the taxes was strangely omitted)
- Bush is bad.
- We judge people by their race, encourage people to identify themselves by their race, and support programs that do the same.
- Bush is bad.
- Socialize medicine.
- Bush is bad.
- white America is different than black America (WTF does this mean?)
- Bush is bad

It's down to Bush again or the libertarians for me.

Dubya gets a personal slam on his appearance and it generates 400 responses here that mainly continue to slam him.

The dem's debate is weak and whining and full of fools (I don't mind Lieberman so much) and absolutely nothing. (and in the other thread, someone actually had the nerve to state that DZ.com has more conservatives than liberals......)

LIEberman seemed the best of the bunch. I just LOVED his Florida voting remark - too bad he has no proof to back up his lie.

If I were a democrat, I would be ASHAMED of what I heard last night. Utterly ashamed and sickened. Perhaps that's why there aren't any comments.

Personally i hope The mighty Rev. Al Sharpton get's the bid for the candidacy. I REALLY hope he does. I would love to see that battle.
