chopchop 0 #1 September 11, 2003 Yep.. the weather cooperated and 5 jumpers did their first and second night jumps out of the 206.. There were 10 of us total.. I did one nice 2-way ff with James from San Diego.. and then we did a 5 way belly round.. IT was so nice.. we could hear each other in freefall in the round.. Night jumps are magic.. There wass a little swooping activity as well cuz the winds were almost non-existant on the last load.. chopchop gotta go... Plaything needs a spanking.. Check out this post from http://www.skydivecrosskeys.com 09-10-2003 The turnout for night jumps was terrific, and the moon was enormous! Thank you to all the skydivers who visited from other dropzones. It was great to see everybody! We flew 12 loads in the chopper and then we ate 2 cakes, thanks to Shannon, Cindy, and Sarah, who had the birthday! Glenn Bangs gave the jump briefing. Johnny and the 3-ring boys provided the noise, and entertained in the landing area. Thankfully, the turbine chopper is even louder than they are. We watched night freefall video on the big screen in the hangar. Everyone had such a good time that, at midnight, there were still people in the hangar, reluctant to admit they had to go home, as it was a weeknight.
