It will probably clog the toilet. Pens almost always do.

When I worked at GTE, almost everyone of us had dropped their pager in the toilet (some more than once). Because they are clipped onto your belt, when people stand up and pull their pants up, the pager flips off the clip into the toilet. Happened to me too.

If you let a pager dry, it will work later. For keycards, it depends on the type.

Exaclty how do you just walk by a toilet and drop something in it? That sounds like a neat trick. Especially for a woman b/c you have to open the stall first. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.
