Following a school bus, watching mommies little angel give me the finger from the rear window for two miles...stopping every 100 feet or so...and waiting while little johnny takes 5 minutes to get off the bus. If the little angels can't cross the street without traffic stopping...what the hell are they doing off their mommas teat anyway. Im for thinning the herd and letting traffic flow. BBKid 0 #2 September 12, 2003 I hate it when the little pricks start running across the road or riding their bikes across when they can clearly see me coming. My favourite trick when they do this is to downshift really fast 2 or 3 gears, the noise makes them think I'm accelerating towards them. They certainly get out of the way then, I'm just waiting for one to shit himself in the street, then my mission will be accomplished - bwahahahahahahaaaaaaa!!!! And, yes, I've been to NY so you're traffic sucks as well.) And, everyone can have a bad day. But, let's be real here. Everyone of us have done things when looking back weren't the most intelligent decision as a child. And, at one time, you were that child and your mom was that mom. Instead of getting so pissy about it, why don't you become a big brother to a child and help teach them why they should/shouldn't do some of the things that you just got pissy about?Life is short! drewboo 0 #5 September 12, 2003 I be a old alligator of a human being....when i was growing up...if I were to give an adult the finger...that adult, whether he knew me or not, pretty much had the god-given right to beat the tar outta me..than take me to my parents so they could beat the what ever was left. The other day i was talking to a neighbor...his spawn-boy began wailing on me as hard as he could...no we are talking about a 4 year old here...his full on punches couldn't hurt much...but he was only tall enough to reach my groin area...which was troublesome....i asked the father to make the kid stop...and what does the father do? He looks at the kid and says.."Lil Bob...if you need attention...just say Daddy i need a hug. Now i would have expected at least a swat on the bottom! What the hell was this! The kid didn't know me at all. Just started wailing on me..cause i was talking to his Dad. Hopefully the kid wont try this on someone else..he maqy find life can get difficult very quickly. I have 2 kids of my own and school bus stopping, nose picking and getting flipped off while behind the bus irritates me at times as well. Rant away!!!!!!!!! BBKid 0 #7 September 13, 2003 Hey, I never claimed to be perfect as a child, it wasn't even that long ago, but in my opinion if you're dumb enough to step out in front of a moving car after looking the driver in the face, then being surprised when you have to jump out of the way, then the gene pool is better off without you. Also, round here the majority of kids have no respect for anyone, even themselves. They make no effort to learn (my Mum just retired from woring in a school, and I know how hard the teachers try), and parents don't seem bothered any more. If anyone else tries to do them a favour by giving them advise, they run the risk of being stabbed or shot at (happened to a lot of my friends), or today's litigious society means you'll probably get sued for emotional distress. I'm sorry if I come across as very pissy, but it's really pissing me off at the moment. Good example: a friend of mine has just graduated (like me) and is going to do a PGCE (1 year teacher training course). He's basically been told that if a child is crying, and he puts his hand on their shoulder to comfort them, or holds their hand to help them cross the road, he'll be dismissed, reported to the police, and probably prosecuted for . I just hate this element of society - my friend is going to make a great teacher, but he's really sceptical about whether he'll be able to stick it out due to all the shit they're throwing at him.
