I have lots of money in my account to buy jump tickets. The problem.....no time to get to the DZ. [:/]

Take at look at the midwest today - I finally have a couple of bucks saved to make some jumps this weekend, and almost everything in the Central Time Zone is weathered in.

Shame on Bob Sinclair for claiming skydiving has become, "A yuppie sport."

Well, then again, most yuppies I know nowadays are material-rich and money-poor anyway!! lol!!

You're right though, you really are a skydiver, but you can still afford a cup of coffee, so you're doing better than more than a few guys I know!!

I hope today isn't the day when the monthly bank fees are taken out.

Monthly bank fees? Do people still pay those? At my bank, as long as you use the ATM most of the time (you can use a teller once a month) and keep a certain balance, you don't have to pay any fees. It's nice!

I have a stupid bank. They don't care about a minimum monthly balance. I only use it, because it is the most convenient for me. Living in the sticks, it's the only bank that has a branch between home and work.

I just want my DZ to start automatic bank drafts so every two weeks when I get paid I just keep going up till they say there's no money left;) and for those thinking about the bills and mortgage, yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah...

Skydiving isn't scary;...but clowns...CLOWNS are scary!

I'm getting a Visa check card soon to replace the use of my credit card, and that's free too. I love washington mutual.

BEWARE OF THE CHECK CARD! A good friend of mine recently went to get some cash from the ATM, when he knew there should be several thousand in his account since his house and car payment hadn't posted yet.....but his balance was $3! There were several charges to his VISA check card account that were fradulent! The problem is.....when this happens with a credit card, no big deal - it takes 'em a couple weeks to straighten it out, but you're not out anything.....with a debit/check card, YOU ARE OUT THAT MONEY UNTIL THEY DECIDE TO FIX IT!

My buddy's house payment, car payment, electric bill, etc, checks all bounced.. Think of all the fees now. The bank won't do anything to help him deal with the companies that had checks bounce. They won't even write a letter saying what happened. It took them TWO FULL WEEKS to re-deposit the fradulent charges in his account. Now he's got over $300 in returned check and late fees to deal with. I don't use that card for anything but the ATM.

lol, yeah...been there. The bastards. I wish they'd just give you a call or something so that you can reconcile your account before charges are added. I'd rather then call me and tell me I need to give them $5 to zero out my account than get my bank statement and see they took the liberty of adding a $25-$30 NSF fee....
