Muenkel 0 #1 September 14, 2003 Well, we're in the "possible landfall" category and we've had the shittiest weather this past year, it just wouldn't surprise me. If it does hit the Northeast, it would be Thursday or Friday. Glad I have a generator. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

Muenkel 0 #3 September 14, 2003 Since I have no interest in any trailer parks or old ladies, I guess I have to raise. How about a jump ticket? It's win/win for you since I haven't finished AFF. _________________________________________ Chris

Samurai136 0 #5 September 14, 2003 What exactly qualifies as a hurricane in the north east? I'm in for $25 that it misses. Ken"Buttons aren't toys." - Trillian Ken

Muenkel 0 #10 September 14, 2003 QuoteWhat exactly qualifies as a hurricane in the north east? The same as any other hurricane. We get hurricanes also, just not as often as the southeast. _________________________________________ Chris
Samurai136 0 #11 September 14, 2003 Usually when it gets up there there's no longer an eye. If that's the same northeast I'm thinking of... Most people in Fl call it a tropical storm.... Luv2Fall 0 #13 September 14, 2003 It wouldn't surprise me in the least. Let's have some more non-jumping shitty weather. Gawd, I've learned to hate rain.

skybytch 273 #15 September 14, 2003 As long as it heads north and doesn't hit where I'm at, it's okay with me. It'd really suck to have just arrrived here and then have to evacuate. Y'know?
Muenkel 0 #16 September 14, 2003 Florida is already suffering enough all of a sudden, so I figure the hurricane will pass them by. And yes Samurai, the Northeast...being the New England states absolutely can get full blown hurricanes...eye and all. What makes it less common for us, is the cooler waters of the Atlantic can drop them down to tropical storms. Also, if they remain a hurricane, they commonly drop down from being a 5. This is OK with us. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

Muenkel 0 #18 September 15, 2003 I could be wrong, but I think this one has our name on it. If it makes it here though it will probably be a 3. _________________________________________ Chris

Muenkel 0 #20 September 15, 2003 Yeah, you're more in the danger zone than I am right now. Just make sure your cars are in the garage and everything outside is secure. Don't forget to tape or plywood your windows. My gut still tells me it is only going to skim No. Carolina and Virginia and really head for Long Island and New England. But, I am no soothsayer. _________________________________________ Chris
