Yeah What she Said

You're a bunch of pansies!! :D
Board up the windows, invite some people over, get hammered, keep the video cameras rolling for future sale to Real TV. Every once-in-awhile run outside and taunt god... something like "Is that all you got?!" should be fine.
it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality

Here is the latest GFS Model run at 12z this morning. The models have been quite consistent at keeping the system North of NC and south of Canada. This model puts the impact in NYC and Long island NY.

Well Meat, I am a Meteorologist, and I am ruling out Florida. I will eat my words if I am wrong, but the developing trough over the eastern US will be too strong for Isabel to break... With a ridge building over eastern Canada, it is a nobrainer to say this one will turn northward.

The furthest south I think it could hit would be the border of SC and GA, but it is more likely to turn steeper than that.

Now... nothing personal against you guys in Florida... but I hope you get hammered

Now THAT's not cool ... I had to live thru hurricane Andrew while living in South Florida. THIS is not a funny matter. I hope we don't get hammered, because quite frankly, I don't want to go thru this thing or anything like it again. Think of all the lives you just wished got royally fucked. Bad karma in my eyes ... :S Sorry if you didn't mean for it to be serious and were joking, but I, and probably other Floridians, don't think this monster's a joke.

Trailer 11/12 was the best. Thanks for the memories ... you guys rocked!

Relax TB.....you know everyone loves us and REALLY want the best for us....sometimes just gotta make light of something as big and scary as this baby......you can come to the "responsible people only" party if you want.....I'll keep ya'll in line and bed time is midnight so be prepared for ghost stories and train backrubs until we all fall asleep ;)......

Kramer......I got your back honey bunny - responsible SunnyDee is here (damn - that Raeford comment almost made me sound like a FUDD - but whatever....I'm old - I need my beauty sleep)...

Sunday is the day we should all check the weather cause THEN we should REALLY know what she is doing!

Just left the DZ - made 4 jumps incase the weather turns hairy......

Dreams become reality, one choice at a time...

I sorry Sunny. You know I Love Ya. ;) You are invited on any road trips.

I just meant you were more responsible than I.

Too bad you couldn't come over and jump with Angie. We could all have a blast.

I am sure I will see you soon. :)

Isabel is beautiful.

Latest GOES image of Isabel

I always find myself awestruck by the shere power, size and capability of hurricanes. They eat, breathe and definately have a personality.

I've lived in NC for 16 years now. I remember Floyd, Hugo, Fran, etc. It seems that, each time, I run into the grocery store at the last minute. People are EVERYWHERE with grocery carts full of bread and water. I ROCKET down aisle one, seeking sustinence. Each time, I've been blessed. Each time, as if in a dream, I encounter the spoils that others have left untouched. I'm the guy standing in line with nothing but two cases of beer...with a grin so wide you'd think I'd robbed Ft. Knox.

Please don’t rely on landfall to tame a Hurricane quickly. When Hurricane Donna hit us in 1960 it came in at the Everglades at a Cat 4 and remained a Cat 4 to Orlando. It was a Cat 3 from Orlando till it was off the coast of Jacksonville.

For those interested in making a hurricane jump do it in the eye. Gary Depuis then owner of the Deland PC made a jump in the eye of Donna when it passed over Deland.
