Thomas David Colaneri - Funeral Particulars:

September 14, 2003 Thomas David Colaneri, 36, lifelong resident of Solvay, passed away Sunday morning in a sky diving accident in Ovid, NY.

Beloved son, brother and uncle, he was an avid sky diver and a certified arborist. He was employed by Treelanders TreeService and also participated in several arborist competitions in Santa Barbara, CA and in Bronx, NY. He was a 1984 graduate of Bishop Ludden High School and attended S.U.N.Y. Morrisville. Tommy was a bright young man who was interested in philosophy and literature, especially all the works of William Shakespeare. He practiced several forms of martial arts and enjoyed weightlifting, snowboarding, mountain biking and many other outdoor activities. Tommy will be remembered for his boundless energy, his zest for life, and his enthusiasm for everything he undertook. He is survived by: his parents, Nicholas and LouAnne Colaneri of Solvay; five brothers, Nicholas (Lauren) of Santa Barbara, CA, Paul (Jaqueline) of New Hampshire, Michael and John of San Francisco, CA, and Mark of Solvay; one sister, Mary Lou (Thomas) Higgins of Liverpool; two nieces, two nephews, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 8:15 a.m. in the PIRRO AND SONS FUNERAL HOME and 9 a.m. in St. Cecilia's Church. Friends may call at the funeral home, 514 Turtle St., Syracuse, on Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. Contributions may be made to St. Cecilia's Food Pantry, 1001 Woods Rd., Solvay, NY 13209.
