A "no-touch" rule would require dancers to remain at least six feet from customers, effectively banning the practice of tipping dancers by tucking money into their G-strings. The council's unanimous decision also would outlaw "VIP rooms" where nude dancers perform privately. The ordinance now goes to Mayor James Hahn for his signature.namaste, motherfucker. WTF? Are California politicians trying to put small business out of business and toss jobs on the streets? Do they realize that the per capita income they are going to impact is going to hit their precious little social programs right in the f**k**g *ss? Jeeezuz...a "talented" strip artist, dancer, whatever pulls in very comfortable six-figure incomes. So, how many clubs get affected by this? How many dancers per club? Risk of lost income? In CA a tenth of that is good. Hell, in Riverside they let the dancers go around asking for handouts after a set and if they didn't you'd be up there for free. That said, why the hell don't they fix the traffic situation or improve public transportation or work on providing affordable health care or SOMETHING USEFUL??! Its the porn capital of the world I just don't understand why a little lap dance is like one of the seven deadly sins here. ARRRRRGGGHH! Thanks Sky.
