Was a great story. Interesting to see the thoughts about a person's own reasons for doin BASE - how personal it is.

And that quote about not wanting to kill another girl is just heartbreaking.

but, honestly, the guy in the story had his methods that made sense.
When people in your life start going...it make perfect sense to the "like minded".

Well, it begins good, but the style gets boring after a while and the story slowly deteriorates towards needless melodrama. And I'm not convinced the author knows much about skydiving or base jumping.

Overall a C+, but then again, that's just my personal opinion.

Yeah, I don't think he is a skydiver or a base jumper. But he either did pretty good research or has friends in the sports. It was more technically correct then most storys written by wuffos.
