I went out to lunch with a friend and spent the afternoon at the beach. Later, my roommate called. His boss had 8 tickets to see Steely Dan tonight. I have never really expected good acoustics from a hockey rink, but the sound was great, clear but not overpowering. SD has always been about the orchestration and complexity, not volume.
