I was born by C-section, and I turned out alright:S

Congrats!

Skydiving is easy. All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you.

good luck and post the pics as soon as you can, are you going to video it?

Not the actual op, but everything after.

BTW I think that babies born by c-section have much more normal looking heads than babies born the normal way.

So I'm told, but I've seen some C-babies that looked "square-headed"!:o

Vibes to both of you; I've had a C-section (unexpected in my case), and the real upside is that you can sit down afterwards.

I played ping pong for about 10 minutes when I got home from the hospital (4-5 days -- this was 20 years ago). I was skydiving about 6 weeks later. So it's certainly not the awful thing some folks say it is.

Just remember -- no matter how good you feel, sleep when the baby does. Because the baby for darn sure won't sleep just because you are! Have a wonderful time!

There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. (tbrown)

I don't know which of us is more scared, and whether it's the op or the future/parenthood that scares us more!

It's all gonna be fine. Steph is an original skybitch from hell and you're titanium man so there's no way anything can go wrong.

Kira couldn't have chosen better parents.

I'm so excited for both of you. :)
