All you have to do is relax while plummetting at 120 mph from 10,000' with nothing but some nylon and webbing to save you. I played ping pong for about 10 minutes when I got home from the hospital (4-5 days -- this was 20 years ago). I was skydiving about 6 weeks later. So it's certainly not the awful thing some folks say it is. Just remember -- no matter how good you feel, sleep when the baby does. Because the baby for darn sure won't sleep just because you are!
