I just lost $100k

My boss is in Atlanta and has his blackberry (wireless email). He can send emails, but isn't receiving them. Checked everything out here, no problems, and mine is working. Called Blackberry, it's a problem with their network.

So, they're working on it. Meanwhile, he emails me:

"Let me know what you want for year end bonus and I'll pay it, if I get it on my blackberry in the next 30 seconds."

I quickly reply, "$100k should do it" and send the email. Then I open his email queue and look at the 18 pending outbound messages....30 seconds pass and nothing....oh well, the guy would have given it to me, too.

45 seconds later, blackberry fixed the problem and his messages went through
