leroydb 0 #1 September 18, 2003 Those in the Military QuoteThere will never be a true grateful action or words on our part that will ever be fare or equal to the sacrifices you, and your team mates have made.... It's nice to hear these things when so many ungrateful people disgrace our country. It is awesome to know that most respect us for what we do. But I ask, don't call me a hero. The true heroes are those that give their life or are injured in her (U.S.A.) defense.... Le RoyLeroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio... While I think they have their head up their ass, I would again fight for their "right" to have it where they want it.My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
dropdeded 0 #3 September 18, 2003 But I ask, don't call me a hero. The true heroes are those that give their life or are injured in her (U.S.A.) defense.... ------------------------------------------------------------ I am currently reading a book about the men who raised "The Flag" on Iwo Jima. It goes into great detail about the effects that the Nation had on those men, calling them heros and there personal views and feelings. Its hard for most of us to understand how it effects those we call heros and we can never really understand. Hope I made sense here... I respect your feelings. How about I extend my sincere appreciation for what all service men and women did or are doing. dropdeded------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

I agree with you that we fight to give then the right to have their head up their ass, But that dosent mean I have to like it or accept it. I'd rather try to change it!Leroy ..I knew I was an unwanted baby when I saw my bath toys were a toaster and a radio...

juanesky 0 #9 September 18, 2003 Le Roy and all those who have gone before you, and future ones. It really implies sacrifices, for one you have to just follow orders, besides leaving home, family and all that is dear and close. Many lose sight of what it means to defend the very ideals you believe in. Welcome back pal, and thanks for the effort."According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon

Tailwheel 0 #14 September 18, 2003 I too will say thanks. Now everyone repeat these words. All it takes for evil to flourish is for good men to do nothing.
