Raefordite 0 #3 September 19, 2003 Deuce: Thanks for asking! The worst is over. It is still lightly raining and winds in the upper teens, with gusts occasionally to 30 mph. We had 29 mph average winds with the highest gust of 65 pmh at 2:56pm (can you tell I'm a skydiver?). I'm guessing about 2 -3 inches of rain, maybe more. So far only had to cut up one medium sized tree across my dirt road to the house. At least I got to take my 4-wheeler out to play in the rain and with a chain saw! I am sure their will be loads of clean up at the DZ tomorrow. We have so many pine trees..... SkyMonkeyOne was planning on tethering himself to a tree during the high winds. That is, with his birdman suit on. I think the the rain stopped him. Crazy monkey.
LouDiamond 1 #4 September 19, 2003 It's all goody in the hoody. we got some winds and rain and a few moments with out power but the beer prevailed and we are kicking it again."It's just skydiving..additional drama is not required" Some people dream about flying, I live my dream SKYMONKEY PUBLISHING

Muenkel 0 #7 September 19, 2003 Shit, where I am in Western Mass. it's a deluge with gusts close to 70mph! How did the impact point of this storm get basically shit and we in the outerskirts are getting kinda slammed? Already several trees down on my property alone. _________________________________________ Chris
