Daizey 0 #1 September 19, 2003 you know when you were a little kid and people always told ya if ya went out when it was windy you would blow away??? Its true!! For those of you who have met you me, you know i am pretty tiny-never knew i was capable of being picked up by the wind though! I was at practice today, we went running and i was running with my 2 friends when all of a sudden there was this HUUUUGE gust and i nearly blew across the road! My friend grabbed my shirt and then laughed. It happened again with my coach (that time i blew/fell over) and then i got outta my car and practically blew across the parking lot, leaving my friend, as well as the rest of my team, in hysterics. I looked like the guy on the weather channel tonight! hehe so thats been my experience with the hurricane (now tropical storm) here on Long Island-how's yours been? We got a lot of high winds and sideways rain but the plantation is intact.. except for all the beer that mysteriously disappeared.
