freakyflygirl 0 #1 September 20, 2003 I've read the threads on jumping with colds and the risks that go along with it. But all of those were about head colds. Right now I have a chest cold. None of it is in my sinus's and I feel really good. Just have a really bad cough and congestion in my chest. Anyone know of any risks jumping with a chest cold? I'm really close to getting my A and was hoping to do it before the 30th.
skycutie 0 #2 September 20, 2003 I guess you can, as long as you don't feel dizzy or drougy from the medications… As we all know, most cold syrups can make you feel dizzy and shaky. Get well soon, ok! MEN: you can't live with 'em, you can't shoot 'em, but you can act psychotic and keep 'em off balance. HISPA #

tbrown 26 #6 September 20, 2003 Jumped with a chest cold last week & I'm not dead. As long as you feel up for it. But if you feel like you've been hit by a truck or dizzy, then maybe not. Up to you... Your humble servant.....Professor Gravity !
kansasskydiver 0 #7 September 20, 2003 i've been jumping in congestion in my chest since labor day. my allergies kicked in at couch freaks, triggered my asthma and all hell broke loose. it moved into my chest. i waited for the ear preasure to clear and am still jumping. haven't had a problem, so i'd say you're good to go as long as you don't have anything behind yours ears. that can be VERY painful!!!<--- See look, pink dolphins DO exist! freakyflygirl 0 #8 September 21, 2003 Yeah allergies are what did it to me as well. This time of year I get them and then goes into bronchitis, I'm in that inbetween stage right now but feeling really good otherwise. Thanks for all of your inputs, I really appreciate it!!
