AggieDave 6 #35 September 22, 2003 a VW Ghia. Sexy, just plane sexy. Give me one for a couple weeks and give me a decent budget and the Ghia will be doing 150mph easily.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." livendive 8 #36 September 22, 2003 I voted for the Porsche, but would have to give serious consideration to the TVR Cerbera Speed 12. It's gorgeous (see attached), and boasts 800 hp along with 650 ft lb's of torque. Top speed 240 mph, and I've read that its done a 2.9 second 0-60. Blues, Dave"I AM A PROFESSIONAL EXTREME ATHLETE!" turtlespeed 226 #37 September 22, 2003 That is a good lookin' car. Looks alot like a viper, but better. 800 horses? wow...I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun
Blahr 0 #38 September 22, 2003 In my opinion, there is no sexy car. There ARE a lot of absurdly overpriced ones though.
jfields 0 #39 September 22, 2003 Scarily, I more agree with Dave than most of the other posters here. The current crop of hyper-exotics aren't that sexy. Fast, yes. Powerful, yes. But not that sexy. Sexy requires curves and class. I'm thinking old Jaguars, Ferraris and such. Not the new angular ones. The same way on the "Sexy Plane" poll, I had to go with the Spitfire and disagree with the folks who suggested the SR-71. It is an awesome plane, but not sexy. Guest #42 September 22, 2003 The Vector Twin Turbo. Makes Ghinis look lame. I think Ghias are about the sexiest car that "everyman" can own tho, especially the soft-top. "The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."

skytash 0 #45 September 22, 2003 Quotea VW Ghia. Sexy, just plane sexy. Give me one for a couple weeks and give me a decent budget and the Ghia will be doing 150mph easily. which VW Ghia? They built a number of different cars at their Ghia plant (which now belongs to Ford hence the Mondeo Ghia, not the same at ALL!). I like the Karman 314 and 214 preferring the 214 but they didn't build many of them so they are in very short supply even in Germany. My fave current car has to be my very own Meg, an MGF, I can fit in a rig and a bloke but not a bloke and two rigs - any potential male in my life either mustn't jump , or needs his own car... tashDon't ever save anything for a special occasion.
