mujie96 0 #6 September 22, 2003 I didn't actually see him exit the plane, I was chasing the LO and reflecting on the fact that I should borrow a protrack because I do a pretty decent birdman suit imitation in my dakines.....sometimes its FUN to be floaty. Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
freeflir29 0 #7 September 22, 2003 QuoteClay, where'd you go on the tracking dive? Hehehehehee....well....see......here's what happened. The LO got in the door and started wiggling around. Looked like he was giving the count to me. So...when he went out hard. (Apparently a "ready" count) Uuummm.....I left... I knew I goofed almost as soon as I let go of the bar. But....it was too late by then....it was almost slow motion as I fell away. I stayed on level but could NEVER catch back up. Did a little back flying around 6K to clear the air above then watched you guys break off. I did however have a right decent little swoop that Lori got to witness. Damn did the landings seem faster out there. Even faster than Eloy. Even though I was landing downwind at Eloy. *Shrug* Much fun!!! I want to swoop there more!!!!!!!! Paul....what agreat pic that is! Too bad I didn't see you over there until after I landed. You would have made a great Swoop Target.
ltdiver 3 #8 September 23, 2003 Great to meet you on Sunday, Clay! Get back out here asap....they -say- our weather is going to cool down some day soon... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
freeflir29 0 #9 September 23, 2003 Quotethey -say- are weather is going to cool down some day soon... Yeah....I purposely stood in the misters in the loading area quite often. It was hotter in Perris than Eloy. That suprised me. In fact.....just about the time we got over the mountains at about 3500 Ft, in the Bellanca, it started to get rather warm.
