Vallerina 2 #1 September 22, 2003 I did my first jump with a Birdman suit this past weekend (I still owe half a case! ) I absolutely loved it. It felt more like flying than any other skydiving I've done. I loved how quiet it got. I loved hanging out by the plane. I loved the longer freefall. I loved everything! I feel like I just made my first jump! So, my question is am I too obsessed with it? All I want to do is another jump with a wingsuit. I'm thinking of what of mine I can sell to afford one. I keep giggling about how much fun it was! Is there a cure for such insanity? There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
mailin 0 #2 September 22, 2003 hehe If you figure it out, let me know - I'm still high from my first tandem on the 13th! Enjoy! JenniferArianna Frances
mujie96 0 #3 September 22, 2003 No, it is not bad. Bad would be trying to find a used suit in my size. Impossible, apparently. The cure is to buy a suit....in mycase...to come up with the $$ for a new one... Just keep swimming...just keep swimming....
katiebear21 0 #4 September 22, 2003 Am I the only one not to get a taste of the nylon crack? Oh well, one of these days I'll have the jumps and experience to take the leap! Until then I guess the rodeo will do! Katie Get your PMS glass necklace here

skybytch 273 #15 September 22, 2003 Now you know why we call it nylon crack! Glad to hear you joined the flock. It's not bad. It's normal to be this obsessed. At least that's what I keep telling myself...
PhreeZone 20 #16 September 22, 2003 Remi... I'll ship you my Classic if you can find a BMI to train you. It fits me at 6'2 180 and has been loaned to a TM at my DZ thats 6' 230 lbs and it was tight on him but it worked. That is AFTER I get my NEW Skyflyer3 (I'm only counting the hours till delivery now, not minutes yet ) 93 hours to go.... OK... Val on her third jump smoked me BAD. I was doing 58MPH and she was at least 500 feet above me and climbing fast. I think Ray said it best in that she'll give Jari a run for the slowest if some one would let her into a S3. WrongWay 0 #23 September 22, 2003 Val, I hear you're a natural!! Congrats, and I must say, the suit you were jumping was SWEET. Man, I'm the only guy at the dz not to give in to the peer pressure of the nylon crack yet!! I can just hear the voices in my head repeating themselves on the plane... PurpleBadger 0 #24 September 22, 2003 If it was peer pressure that lead me into doing my first BM jumps this w/end, then i'm proud to be Weak I also get the impression the becoming 'focused' is not just bad... it's just standard. I've been searching down the back of the couch for any coins that I might have missed last time i looked, darn, nothing was there. Need new way to get money for a suit .
