All my thoughts seem to be floating and drifting toward the boogie, all the people that I will have the opportunity to meet and jump with, and all the fun that is to be had. I wish I had Michele's gift for words, so that I could express this properly. The "Aggies Over Texas Memorial Boogie", as you have probably read, is about a group of skydivers that paid the ultimate price for their love of this sport. The casa is here. The tents are up. The arangements are made. Cases upon cases of Go-Fast are waiting to to be put on ice. There is a certain tension in the air. The anticipation of something that has power, something that makes you have that tingly feeing just below the middle of your back. So much more than words can describe, the gathering of energy, the "Vibe". It's all around you at the boogie, or anywhere our little family chooses to meet. Here, though, it seems to be the most intense. The AOTMB is where I feel it the most. I don't quite know to describe, this "vibe". I'm not sure I can put it into words. When you are here,though, you know you have it. When all is said and done, when the last load is walking back to the hangar, and silent smiles are so abundant, the sunset colors fading behind you...You know you have had it, and you know you will be carrying it around with you for a long time.
