My number is 9644, and I don't feel that old.May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view. Steel 0 #8 September 23, 2003 QuoteI am a child! I knew it! I'm definitely a kid at heart and this proves it! D-25001 the intereting thing about that is that you know for sure somebody within the range of 10,000-18,000 has to be over 40. But somebody with a number over 25,000 may still be. But anyway he or she is still a kid in skydiving. If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. Can't think of anything I need No cigarettes, no sleep, no light, no sound. Steel 0 #10 September 23, 2003 Sorry to shoot your theory all to hell but - D14633. 38 years old. Started jumping at age 24. -------------------------------------- Ok, I stand corrected. But to help for future data when exactly did you get your D-license. Not when you started jumping but at what month/year were they up to 14,633.If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. freeflygoddess 0 #11 September 23, 2003 Awe I don't have a D number yet, what would that make me then? Non existant? I mean I am the goddess of freeflying, so I am immortal and I will always be the same age and such any how, but just because I have one night jump and two tests to take and oh yeah some more jumps to make....lol...doesn't mean that I am non existant, because I rock.......but so do all of us skydiving chicks... Off the top of my head, late 1991 or early 1992. that is definately helpful for future reference. But now come to think of it the A-license would have been a bettter poll since many people refuse to go further. I know in Oct./94 they were up to A-20111 cause that was my number. That seems like it was pretty far off from 91 being about 14,000 with the D's but I guess that only proves that people were less likely to get their D-licenses.If I could make a wish, I think I'd pass. BikerBabe 0 #14 September 23, 2003 D-18644 I'm now 28, started jumping when I was 18. I think I got my D in 1996 sometime. Curiously enough, I've met one person with a number close to mine, Keith Snyder, the US national skysurf champion...his is D-18630. Anyone met and/or jumped with the holder of athe number right before or right after yours?Never meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup! We learned to jump at the same time, thought it would be cute to have consecutive D numbers. Seems less cute now that we're ex's, but he doesn't jump anymore anyway.
