dgskydive 0 #1 September 24, 2003 Got up nice and early this morning to go watch the IPC World Cup. Good way to start the day. I only got to see the first 2 qualifing rounds but it looks like it is gonna be a great meet. It started last night with a jet doing flybys and then an acrobatics display by Mike Mangold. Then some cool swoops from the PD, Precision and Icarus boys. The Acrobatics was awesome! I've been to a lot of airshows, but when the pilot is an old school skydiver he nows what we like and gave it to us. At some points he was flying level with the Bombshelter patio striaght at it and then pulling straight up in what looked to be 30 ft of horizontal space. Standing out in the swoop park you could see people ducking on the patio. I'm sure it was an illusion but damn did it look cool.Dom Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
