Skymonkey13 0 #1 September 26, 2003 OK, i'm setting up here playing on the computor (i'm on the 3rd floor) and i hear a big BOOM. I can tell by the sound that it's right in front of the house. So i think, Oh Sh*t, someone hit my van. I jump up and look out the window and this little MR2 has T-Boned a Paddy Wagon. Knocked the Paddy Wagon to within 2 feet of my van. My first thought was, That's not the right thing to hit (meaning the police vehicle) and about that time the guy backs up and turns right and takes off going the wrong way down a one way street. At first the officer was dazed cause he had glass in his eye, but when the other guy took off the officer tried to go after him. But it had broke his tie rod in half and one wheel was facing straight and the other one looked like he was turning right. He jumps out and gets on his radio. Within 2 minutes there was over a dozen cop cars in front of my house and the police helicoptor was flying overhead. They found the car 2 blocks away but the driver was gone. Before the cops left, one of them told me they had just got a call form the owner saying his car was stolen. (yea, right)so they were on their way to pick him up. During all this time my brother was coming by and he seen all the cop cars in front of the house, and just kept on going, thinking they wre here for me. And my son was coming home too, seen all the cars and says DAMN DAD went off, he thought i had shot my neighbor, who i don't like, so he kept driving. Both my brother and my son met at the bar a block from my house and were trying to call home to see if the coast was clear, but i was outside watching the action so they got no answer. So my son got a cab and had it drive by the house and when he seen me outside without handcuffs he had the driver let him out. Then he calls my brother at the bar and says, It's OK Dad didn't go off, you can come up now. Then he walks down to get his car. Now with most family's, if you drive up and see a lot of police cars in front of your house, you think Oh my God, someone is hurt, and you rush in to see what happened.
