acceptance to UT!!

i just got my acceptance letter from the university of tampa. i was wondering if any florida ppl would be willing to help me out w/ getting familar w/ the state or w/ the city. also, if any tampa ppl need a roomie for next fall, i am your person!!
and, i guess it wouldn't hurt to know where the nearest and the best dz's are at

Tampa's an easy city to get around in.

It's flat. The streets all go North/South and East/West. Kennedy Blvd is the main thoroughfare into/out of the west end of "downtown" and goes clear across the bay to St. Petersburg. The Stadium is on Dale Mabry, as are all the strip clubs (maybe you won't care about that ). Downtown Tampa get's quiet at about 5:15PM aside from the "workday" hustle, there's nothing actually in downtown. All the happening stuff is in Ybor City, on the eastern side of Tampa. Make sure you find a couple good Cuban Restaurants, get acquainted with Cuban Sandwiches and Pork, Rice and Black Beans (good stuff!!)...and Plantains.

It's humid.

I hope U of Tampa treats you well. It's right in the city, seems like a nice campus. I used to work down town, live in the west end of the city, and in Lutz, north of town.

Now is a nightmare to travel there from Lutz or the west 275 gets jammed pretty bad.

Mabe She could find a place in Davis Island, is south of town, and something available should be nice...Z-hills would be your best DZ shot around the area.

Guavaween! I thnk it was 97 wheni dressed up as a Mr Tall. I was doing drywall at the time and with some LONG pants, and some stilts, 3'6, I was 9'4" tall, what a blast, well, util the drinks hit me, then i had to be helped off the stilts.
