Vallerina 2 #1 September 30, 2003 What's your favorite aspect of fall? There's much to love about it....leaves changing colors....pulling out the comfy sweaters....haunted houses...an end of tourists driving into/out of Chicago and making me mad...and end to the hot, humid weather.... My favorite part of fall is the leaves changing colors. Take a group of normal, boring trees and make them glow....there's nothing quite like it! My second favorite part of fall is Halloween and dressing up! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning

skymama 37 #4 September 30, 2003 My favorite part is the temperate going below 90! I hear it might actually happen this weekend in FL where it will go down to the low 80's! suz 0 #5 September 30, 2003 I had to think for a second there (yeah, it did hurt a little) I thought you were referring fall as in...freefall. I was thinking, where in the world is there a haunted house at 10k? I know "fall" as Autumn..It's not one of my favourite seasons. I love Autumn as I get to open the windows up and enjoy the fresh air, rather then the stale air conditioned air. And my tan still looks good Don't bother me, I'm living happily ever after
wingnut 0 #6 September 30, 2003 i'd have to say it because it's perfect bonfire weather!!! nothing better than a bonfire and some friends!! well the leaves are cool too.. but here in utah it's just splotches on the mountains, not like back home in ohio where you take a drive and the whole hill is covered...... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"

goose491 0 #13 September 30, 2003 I like the 'crispyness' of the air in fall. And how it seems as though you can hear much further away. I also like the smell of the leaves turning, and the sound of 'em russling and crunching when you walk trough the woods with a special someone. My Karma ran over my Dogma!!! Muenkel 0 #17 September 30, 2003 Well since my house is on top of a mountain on the border of Vermont and Massachusetts, you could say I'm in the epicenter of fall foliage. And I take it totally for granted. People travel from overseas to my area just to look at the scenery and I basically have the attitude of "Oh, that's nice...big deal." I know it is a horrible attitude, but I believe it is due to the fact that I am truly a warm climate person and fall means the beginning of a long winter to me. Andrea, I'd take your climate anyday...just not the "flatness and swampiness" of Florida. Chris _________________________________________ Chris

freeflygoddess 0 #21 September 30, 2003 Autum??? What in the world is that...oh wait I guess we have an autum during winter and no spring....Well we just have a summer and a cooler summer here.... I guess the thing I like most about our so called autum is the dust devils are gone, nice clean smooth air and less turbulance...oh yeah and at pull time you don't get this rush of heat. except I kind of like that in case you lose your alti in the door...happend this past weekend...and you dytter's batts are dead or you lost you helmet too...bad luck for you btw...then all you need is to feel that heat rush and you know you better track and pull... happythoughts 0 #23 September 30, 2003 All the kids are in school in the mornings so it is quieter in the morning. Sports are better because you don't labor to breathe (humidity).
