what are you paying for gas

Recommended Posts

$1.36 in Minnesota yesterday. Today in San Jose area looks like a lot more than that.

The two gas stations near my house (North Palm Beach, FL) are at war with each other -- $1.39 & $1.47. Everyone else around is about 30 cents more!

I filled up for 1.42 a gallon of gas today. What is everyone paying?

Here in Quebec city, I paid the equivalent of U.S $1.95 for the regular unleaded.

1 U.S gallon is 3.78Litre

1 imperial gallon is 4.54Litre

The price here in Quebec city is CAN $0.764/L

Around 90 cents Oz / litre but by Thursday night it'll be 99.9 cpl and by next Tues it'll be around 88 or 89 or so. Since I sold the Range Rover and got a Prius I don't seem to worry about fuel prices anywhere near as much.:)
So let's say 90cpl which is around Oz$3.40 / US gal which at the current exchange rate is around US$2.30 or so / gal.

I hate to think what the Europeans are paying.

I can see refineries from the freeway 10 miles from home.

I'm paying 1.47 where I live; when I go to some adjoining towns it's 1.41

I go to a gas station for the cheapest gas in my area (East Bay CA) that is literally across the street from the Shell Refinery. Gas is down to 1.85 there.

Just in case anyone's interested, there are 4 major refineries in the bay area yet, San Francisco has one of the highest gas prices in the nation
