Cornholio 0 #1 October 2, 2003 No, not speaking strictly about PostWhores. I'm talking about always wanting the latest and fastest internet technology ? No ? I am! In the past 3 years, I can count how many service providers I have had on both hands... Lessee there first was FlashCom (my first taste of high-speed Internet) then there was Megapath and Northpoint, and then Qwest DSL and Rythms and Covad were in there somewhere, then MatrixWebs DSL, then Excite@Home, then AT@T Broadband, then Comcast. I know I'm missing a few in there. So now, I'm on the quest for Wireless Internet !! I've been talking with this company for over a month now trying to get high-speed wireless Internet. They offer T1 SYNCHRONOUS speeds with burstable to 6-8 Mbs. OMG, I think I just came in my pants.. I should have it installed by next week if we don't run into any more problems. Can you say "serving skydiving videos ??" at T1 speeds or greater ? As compared to other wireless service providers, they are one of the cheapest for the high-speeds they offer. I'm looking at 129/month for a CIR of 1.5Mbs and bustable to 5. Ya, a bit expensive for some, but not for us bandwidth addicts. Plus I split that with my roommate and it's much more justifiable. Anyone else spend about half their browsing time on Broadband Reports besides dropzone.com ?? Hmmm.. maybe I need help..... Butthead: Whoa! Burritos for breakfast! Beavis: Yeah! Yeah! Cool! bellyflier on the dz.com hybrid record jump

Gawain 0 #3 October 2, 2003 I'm pretty jealous! That's a great rate for the speed. What's the subscription ratio and SLA with that? Is the antenna included? Line of sight? So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light!
