Deuce 1 #1 October 2, 2003 I'll be showing up this year without pain meds to mix with unlimited alcohol, so I'm concerned about the swells. It's usually that combination that gets the surf up early and breaking sweetly. I'll be paddling out about an hour after the beer light comes on, and looking for breakers. AggieDave 6 #2 October 2, 2003 Sweet! I'm bringing my guitar, my harmonicas and possibly my trumpet for some sweet melodies. I'm also going to bring my notebook of tabs of songs that a crapload of people know and like to sing drunkenly to...--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Deuce 1 #7 October 3, 2003 QuoteCan you explain what you mean? Once upon a time Deuce downsized and tried to suirt both his tib's out his ass learning a hard lesson. He was unbroken, but gimpy. This occurred one month before the Eloy Holiday Boogie '02. Deuce had recovered pretty good, and on his first jump at Eloy went for a 4 way with BigBen, Cornholio, and his new best freind, Mouth. It was fun, and we almost made a single point. Deuce's super neato Spectre 150 opened and flew spectacularly toward the secondary landing area at Eloy. That landing area is 1500 feet higher than Deuce's regular landing area, upon realizing his ground speed was 973 miles per hour he had to run his landing out, tearing all that newly healed muscle and cartilage to shit. Deuce borrowed a knee brace from AggiDave and took a handful of 800 mg motrins and some tramadol. Everything was wonderful. And then the free beer made itself known, and the combination of comaraderie, painkillers, fatigue, and beer made for epic drunken wanderings. The best was through the band. Thus "Where's Deuce?" "Over there, surfing through the band" "Oh" -mostly I am just poking fun at the firewalkers.
mouth 0 #8 October 3, 2003 I'll bring pain killers for you since I'm not on them any longer. I also want to fly video on the next surf. Please don't hurt yourself again though cause I'm getting a complex that everytime you jump with me you hurt yourself and I have to take care of you...not that I mind taking care of you I just don't like to see you in pain. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.
