Kris 0 #6 September 28, 2003 0:0:0 Sigh....still grounded with a downed rig. My Stiletto will be arriving at PD on Monday for them to assess and repair. On the plus side, I'd like to give a great big thanks to Todd, the DZO at Skydive Aggieland, for digging up a spare Mirage reserve PC & freebag and donating it to me. That was truly above & beyond.Once it gets here I can run my baby to my rigger and at least get it ready to jump while I try to get my hands on a main. Also, my knee is at 90% and climbing. I can run up & down the stairs and ride a bike with nothing more than a slight twinge every now & then. BoogieBob 0 #12 September 28, 2003 0:0:0 BoogieBob got his credit card bill this week. BoogieBob was surprised at how many digits were required to display his current balance. BoogieBob became depressed and decided to save some money. BoogieBob saw a picture of SkyMonkeyONE in October's Parachutist (page 26). BoogieBob still owes a keg at Raeford. BoogieBob thinks Columbus Day may be a suitable weekend for payment of aforementioned indebtedness. BoogieBob...out.
Jib 0 #13 September 28, 2003 100:3:1 We're gonna have a Skyvan and/or Otter this winter!! Did a 2-way hydrid for my 100th. Almost slipped under the radar about getting pied, but made the mistake of walking out to see the carnage after someone else's 100th. Just faxed in my C-application! jerry81 10 #15 September 28, 2003 Forever. That's how long it will apparently take me to complete my rig. Forever:10:2 Spent the last four days helping out with students and jumping (almost) for free. Granted, it was mostly hop&pops, but at least I got some nice landings. Did my 200th yesterday (beer bought) and my first zero-g exit today. I also resolved my first seriously f'ed up situation (5-6 linetwists with the canopy spinning downwards) without cutting away, but I don't know if you buy beer for that as well. AirMail 0 #18 September 29, 2003 0:1:0 My cold is almost gone. My head did not explode. This was a fun Mystery 8-way. We each got a slip of paper with our slot instructions on it when we boarded the plane. I almost made it into my slot. Postal Rodriguez-- It's never too late to have a happy childhood. mouth 0 #19 September 29, 2003 1:4:0 One stalled King Air when we were attempting to launch the 14 way formation today. Thank God I was at the door by then and Trey managed to hold it together. Felt REALLY strange though so I asked to be outside on the next jump. Four really fun jumps with some of the peeps who used to be big time jumpers at my DZ but have moved on elsewhere or to other things. I was honored to be allowed to play with them since most had well over 1000 jumps and many cool experiences under their belts. Thanks for letting me play guys and gals. No beer owed or bought though I did drink some. It is so great to be back in the air. Someone said they could see my grin through my full face helmet. -- Hot Mama At least you know where you stand even if it is in a pile of shit.

Vallerina 2 #23 September 29, 2003 103 (floor we went to in the Sears Tower):2:0 One fun weekend! We hung out with my brother and nephews on Friday night. My nephews are the cutest things ever! I even taught Robby how to say, "Silly S!!!" Saturday was already perfect for heading to the Sears Tower. It was partly cloudy, and the air was crisp and cool, so we could see for miles. One very smart dz.commer notices that the plane flying a mile or so from us belonged to the Golden Knights, and they were practicing their demo jump. After stalking their plane doing 20 jump runs, we finally got to see them under canopy with beautiful pink smoke. The view was already great, and that just made it perfect That afternoon, we hit Heaven on Seven, and I got evil heartburn. That evening reserved my spot in hell! There's a thin line between Saturday night and Sunday morning
