shibu 1 #1 July 12, 2011 I wear Rx glasses & am getting tired of the over-goggles. I am thinking about ordering the liquid Player sunglasses. I really like the look of the polished Aluminum. I was just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the sun reflecting off of the frame or off of mirrored lenses & irritating others in your formation. Also is polarized or UV protection more important? http://www.liquidpolarized.com/product.html?style=

I do jump Liquids' Players with polarized lenses, and generally have no issues reading my altimeter, but under canopy, I generally have to rotate it a little to see the numbers. Also, I doubt that it would be any issues with the reflection."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message

I'm excited about the polished aluminum.
jrmrangers 0 #6 July 14, 2011 i have the polished liquid gaskets and i love them!! On really sunny days i notice that my face gets a little burned around the glasses, im assuming its from the reflection. I went with the non polarized lenses and they are great just enough tint but not to dark so you can wear them on hazy days.Wait , I pull what first? theonlyski 8 #7 July 14, 2011 Also, do NOT get the LTD (light to dark) transition lenses... they simply suck for skydiving related activities. They don't transition very quickly, the intensity is related to the temperature, and anything above (I believe they said 75*f) severly degrades their intensity. I had a pair in Iraq and they wouldn't transition much because it was too hot."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message

angryelf 0 #10 July 20, 2011 I disagree about the LTD lenses. I've got a pair, have worn them through a deployment and on over 70 skyjumps, 40 base jumps, use them everyday. They are great!!! First pair of sunglasses I can't seem to scratch the lenses on-and believe me, I'm pretty hard on glasses. The lenses are a tad slow to transition-but they are the only eyepro I've had I could wear day or night, with or with out NVG's and not have to deal with constantly losing interchangeable lenses. The only complaint I have with them is that the (Player) model isn't really narrow enough for my face, so I had to bend them to the point where the lenses don't want to stay in. I fixed that by gluing them in. They are good to go now. The only other issue is the price..."Sometimes you eat the bar, and well-sometimes the bar eats you..."
