Enjoyed meeting you guys over the weekend, and nice to see Lorie and Darryld again.

Now, if only you had as much grass in the landing area as you have growing on the runway...

Ok, to be perfectly accurate, we do not have any grass on the runway -- those are weeds. ;) Yeah, yeah, SDC -is- a beautiful DZ, no question, but dang it, Perris is my home!

And let me again, sort of, apologize for how Gypsy treated you. She normally doesn't bite quite that hard and I'm sure that in time the bruises on your legs will heal and you'll forgive her.

Honestly, Gypsy is far nicer than Poppa Victor on those accounts any day.

Hey those weeds are feed by the ashes of the jumpers before us! Although I think Claude is doing a good job of watching over the damn Post office. At least that is where he was let go thanks to his request for our bad spot! Even in death he mocks us.

I didn't have one problem landing in the grass landing area. Plenty of room for me. Oh wait, I was on the Casa, that was our assigned landing area:P

It's been my (admittedly limited) experience that Gypsy is a lot more aggressive than Shark Air when it comes to biting skydivers, despite the fearsome name and visage that Shark Air has.

Someone ought to slap her nose with a finger and tell her "No bite!" ;)

John and I are -specifically- talking about the camera flyer's office on all these planes.

All three are considerably different than what John is used to at SDC, Elsinore and Eloy and all three are different from each other as well, but you can get used to any of them given enough reps.

John was rear, rear, rear float on Gypsy taking the camera flyer's position since there was none for that plane. The combination of the handle, step and apparently really faster than all get out jumpruns because of the Casa, caused him to bash himself on the rear of the door bruising the inside of his left leg -quite- badly. Camera flyers at Perris learn to deal with this over time.

You should have seen the bruises I got when I fell off the steps climbing into an Otter at SDC. My worst skydiving injury by far, and I hadn't even got into the plane yet!:$

I hit my elbow twice on my exit from the Casa. Don't I get any kissing and rubs?
The damn base was taking up all the ramp, once I got that strap, all was good;)

I thought you owned/traveled with that strap.

Did you have the loft make it up on site?

As for rubbing and kissing . . . uh . . . :$

Ha! What kind of gal do you think I am that I would travel with that kind of strap? I got the idea from Raoul since he used one. I had Larry make it, and since I paid for it, I took it. Afterall, it may come in handy for other things;)
Really, I won't bite any harder than the shark.

Really great to see you again as well, John!

And about Gypsy biting...sorry to hear that!! Perhaps you and mouth should compare notes. She was bit by that same lady too!
