What did you wear for Halloween as a kid?

I though I'd post this after reading another thread about toys. What kind of costumes did you wear for Halloween?

The one costume that sticks out in my mind is a ninja costume. It was completely black, only a little slit for my eyes. That was fun running with that thing on during Halloween night.
Makes me laugh when I see all the bright, colourful, and reflective costumes kids have today.

Well, considering for 4 years in a row I had a freak accident @ school & was sent to the emergency room................I didn't do halloween trick or treating much But I do remember one year going as a mummy on crutches....it was fun!

Hmmm....all I can remember is a clown, witch and princess. Of course, all of those were homemade because my mom would never let us have a store-bought costume.

Let me think. I can remember dressing up in a karate uniform one year, a vampire another year. My face broke out badly after all that white paint. That's about it, I lost interest in dressing up for Halloween when I was very young.

My Dad use to always help make me Groucho Marxz.
I think he enjoyed it more than me.
Only 1 year I went to a church Halloween party dresssed as Alice Cooper (my idea, a little older then) I won some prize with it.
And just add an extra funny thing..one year I got a rock wrapped in aluminum foil just like Charlie Brown!

My mom ROCKED for making awesome costumes. I was Tweety Bird, Wonder Woman, Grandpa Smurf, a bear, a witch... lots of great stuff.

As an adult, I've been a cat, Little Red Riding Hood, a mummy and a jester. I usually help at the local haunted house, so it's usually scary costumes. Even Riding Hood - she'd been caught by the wolf. Very gory and fun.

This year I planned on being a butterfly, but I don't have a reason to dress up, so I'll shelve that idea for next year.

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.
