I suspect some automated registering program or something. -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning

ernokaikkonen 0 #3 October 10, 2003 Well, the last registered users don't seem to include anything that suspicious. Concerning the subject at hand, here's another version of my useless statistic "DZcommers by region". Looks like no matter how many new people sign up, the relative amounts of people from different regions don't really change.

QuickDraw 0 #6 October 10, 2003 It just seems a hell of a hike, after being on here for nearly 2 years and watching the users creep through 7000 when i joined, seeing 4500 people join almost overnight just seemed a little suspicious. I also looked at users who have never logged on too, there are about 4500 (93 pages) of them, i can see why so many 'guests' are about now. -- Hope you don't die. -- I'm fucking winning
Hummusx 0 #7 October 10, 2003 I admit, you have stumbled across my evil scheme to take over the forums at dropzone.com. I have a farm of about 150 boxes at home that are each running custom software designed to emulate dz.commers. 30 separate instances are running per machine, each with it's own 'personality'. Right now they are just watching the boards, but pretty soon they will all log on and begin posting. ____________________________________ It’s like selling a million grills all at the same time…with extended warranties. -Hank Hill

ltdiver 3 #9 October 10, 2003 I believe that, with some of the high profile Incidents this past week, that registration is up to allow them to view that particular forum. It is a glitch in the programming, with so many boobies, nekkid, thongs threads, the forums are about to short circuit his evil plot"According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon
